Acute support

When your project needs more steering.

Operative project steering and stabilisation from one source. We create an overview, coordinate implementation and support you when deadlines, decisions or cooperation come under pressure.

Two typical situations. One service.

Ongoing project with a high need for steering

Time, capacity or commitment for ongoing coordination are lacking. We take over operative project steering to the agreed extent, even without a crisis having occurred.

Critical project situation

Deadlines, costs, quality or customer relationships are under pressure. We first create a solid picture of the situation, set priorities and organise the stabilisation.

What we take on

  • Make progress, open tasks, deadlines and risks transparent and follow them up.
  • Coordinate interfaces between team, customer, suppliers and management.
  • Prepare decisions, follow up agreed measures and address deviations early.
  • In escalations, structure critical communication and prepare options.
  • If needed, take over formal project management or deputising with explicitly agreed tasks and authority.

Who takes which responsibility?

Frances Barchmann is responsible for operative project steering. Alexandros Tsionis steps in for escalations, critical communication, decision pressure and when a deputy is needed. Tasks, responsibilities and authority are agreed before the assignment starts.

Our approach

  1. 1

    Clarify the situation

Capture the project situation, obligations, risks and stakeholders.

  2. 2

    Set up steering

Organise responsibilities, priorities, rhythm and decision paths bindingly.

  3. 3

    Lead implementation

Follow up measures, deadlines and meetings; escalate deviations consistently.

  4. 4

    Secure the effect

Review results and hand over the agreed routines in an orderly way.

How the client recognises progress

  • A current, understandable project status instead of contradictory pieces of information.
  • Clear responsibilities, deadlines and open decisions.
  • Traceable follow-up of measures and communication with the relevant stakeholders.
  • A plannable way out of the critical situation, or more reliable ongoing steering.

Great project management, technical skill and emotional intelligence.

I Thoroughly recommend Alex as a working peer.

Alex and I worked together on a project double the productivity of the existing manufacturing of radial hydraulic piston motors. This involved a great deal of technical and cultural challenges to be overcome.

We were struggling a bit with the initial project managers as they did not have enough of an technical overview and they did not fully understand which were the real topics that needed experts to focus on. Alex grabbed hold of these topics and drove them to successful conclusions.

This allowed us to achieve the project goals and have a much deeper understanding of the manufacturing levers that are important for success.

Overall Alex is the best project manager I have worked with to date on the most complex project.

Alex is a 1st class talent and hopefully we can collaborate again in the future sometime.

What delay can cost

A non-binding example calculation: set order value, delay, rate and cap. The calculation runs only in your browser.

6 weeks

Delay in the example

120,000 €

Calculated penalty at 4 m € order value
4 m €
6 weeks
0.5 %
5 % of the order value

In the example, every further week costs 20,000 €. The cap of 200,000 € would be reached after 10 weeks.
